Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or otherwise using Deathpile (“the service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
2. Your account and workspace
Deathpile is organised around workspaces: a private area for your stock, tubs, and listings. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for any activity that happens under your account. If you invite other members to a workspace, you're responsible for managing their access.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to store or process unlawful content, to attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the service or other workspaces, or to use it in a way that violates eBay's or Shopify's own terms of service or API license agreement.
4. Marketplace integrations
Deathpile can connect to your own marketplace accounts (eBay and Shopify) via each platform's authorization flow. When you connect an account, Deathpile reads your own listing data so you can match listings to local stock. Optional sale detection reads limited order and line-item information but removes buyer, contact, payment and address data before storage. You can disconnect an integration at any time. A verified eBay marketplace account-deletion notice removes the matched eBay connection and provider-derived data while preserving the workspace owner's detached physical inventory records.
5. Billing and subscriptions
Paid plans are billed through Stripe. A verified workspace may receive one 14-day product trial, beginning when its owner first creates operational data or connects a marketplace. No payment card is required for that trial. If the workspace has not selected a paid plan when the trial expires, operational changes become read-only while inventory remains available to browse, search, and export. Confirming a paid plan in Stripe starts billing at the price and interval shown at checkout. You can change plans, update payment details, or cancel at any time from Settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period and you keep access until then. We don't provide refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law. We may change our prices from time to time; changes won't apply to your current billing period and we'll give reasonable notice before they apply to your next renewal.
6. Email communications
When you sign up, you agree that Deathpile may send trial setup, progress, expiry, and relevant Deathpile product emails that relate directly to your account and workspace. You can unsubscribe from these commercial emails at any time without affecting essential verification, password, security, invitation, billing, or service communications.
7. Availability
Deathpile is a small, single-operator service provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, with no uptime guarantee or service-level agreement. We'll do our best to keep things running and to give notice of planned downtime where practical.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Deathpile is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data or business interruption. Keep your own backups of anything critical.
9. Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated, or if we discontinue the service, with notice where reasonably possible.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new “last updated” date above, and where required, you'll be asked to re-accept them.
